Summer Solstice Retreat:

A Day of Stillness, Beauty, and Belonging

Saturday, June 20, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

The Forest House | Hampton, Connecticut

As the light reaches its fullest expression and the earth hums with midsummer abundance, I invite you to gather for a small and intimate Summer Solstice Retreat at The Forest House.

Together we will spend the day beneath the trees— slowing down, mindful walks on woodland paths, resting in silence, creating flower crowns, sharing meaningful conversation, and reconnecting with the quiet wisdom that can emerge when we step away from the urgency of daily life.

This gathering is designed to be spacious, restorative, and deeply human.

Not another thing to keep up with.

But a place to arrive as you are.

Throughout the Day We Will Explore

✨ Mindfulness and embodied presence

✨ Gentle mindful movement

✨ Seasonal reflection and nature connection

✨ Floral crown making and creative ritual

✨ Community circle and quiet moments of rest

✨ A closing fire ceremony

Floral Crown-making materials, seasonal tea, snacks, and a shared midsummer salad will be provided. Participants are invited to bring a protein or favorite dish to contribute to our communal meal, as well as any flowers, greenery, or natural materials they may wish to weave into their crowns.

Participants will also receive a companion retreat booklet with seasonal reflections, journaling prompts, mindfulness practices, and gentle ways to continue working with the themes of the Solstice at home.

TESTIMONIALS FROM PREVIOUS RETREATS

“This retreat gave me peace in a chaotic, angry, volatile world. In the quiet, I found space to listen to my heart’s yearning, and I left with a sense of hope and trust in life’s cycles. The gentleness of the day created a rare sense of peace and belonging that I will carry home.”

🌿

“What stood out most was the deep connection — to myself, to community, and to nature’s gifts. The retreat offered a warm and welcoming group, led by knowledgeable facilitators who created space for authentic awareness. I left with gratitude, fierce love, and the reminder that trees are embodiments of equanimity.”

🌿

“This retreat was transformational. The quiet can be challenging — silence is not always easy — but it gave me the space to discern, to rest, and to hear what is seldom heard in the busyness of the world. What I took home was not just peace, but also ideas for how I can live more whole and aligned with my true self.”

🌿

“I came away with seeds of a shift toward opening. The retreat invited me to notice my cycles of contraction and expansion, and gave me practical ways to be in relationship with them. I carry home not only a sunflower, but also hope for the future and a renewed trust in the natural rhythms that hold us all.”
