Mindful Living
Foundations in Mindfulness (In-Person)
A 6-week, in-person course to help you feel calmer, grounded, and connected in your daily life.
Thursday mornings starting:
May 14 - June 18, 2026. 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm
Community Center 179 Main Street Hampton, CT
🌿 A Gentle Place to Begin
There is a natural turning that happens in the spring…a quiet invitation to begin again.
To step out of the heaviness of winter.
To reconnect with your breath, your body, and the deeper rhythms of your life.
Mindful Living is a space to do just that.
Not by adding more to your life—but by learning how to be more present within it.
🌿 What You’ll Experience
Over six weeks, you will be gently guided through practices that support you in:
settling your nervous system and finding calm in the midst of daily life
working with thoughts and emotions with greater awareness and ease
softening the inner critic and cultivating self-compassion
responding more wisely in relationships and challenging situations
reconnecting with a sense of presence, meaning, and inner steadiness
Mindfulness & Brain Health
As we age, many of us begin to notice changes in memory, focus, or mental clarity.
Research shows that mindfulness practice can support:
improved attention and concentration
greater mental clarity and memory support
reduced stress, which impacts brain and heart health
increased emotional balance and resilience
This course offers simple, practical ways to support both your mind and body—helping you stay engaged, present, and connected in your daily life.
Each session includes guided meditation, teaching, and reflection, supported by weekly home practices and an online learning portal with recordings and resources to help integrate mindfulness into your daily life.
No prior experience is needed.
🌿 Who This Is For
This course is especially supportive if you are:
feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or stretched thin

🌿 What Makes This Course Different
This is not simply a meditation class.
It is a supportive, relational learning environment where you are guided personally and compassionately as you build your practice.
