Mindful Summer: Growing Sanctuary, Courage & Connection
A 4-week online journey to nourish presence, soothe the nervous system, and strengthen our capacity for care—in a world that needs it.
In a time when the world feels increasingly uncertain and heavy with grief, conflict, and complexity, many of us are quietly carrying stress we can’t always name. Mindful Summer was created for this moment.
This 4-week online program will offer you gentle, grounded practices to help you stay present, resourced, and connected—even in the midst of personal and collective upheaval. Rooted in mindfulness, somatic awareness, and seasonal wisdom, each week provides a compassionate space to soften tension, cultivate inner steadiness, and remember that you are not alone.
What to Expect
Each week centers on a key theme that supports emotional well-being and nervous system regulation during challenging times:
Week 1 – Cultivate Inner Sanctuary: Create space for stillness and healing; gently arrive in the body and breath.
Week 2 – Meeting the World with Tenderness: Tend to emotional fatigue and overwhelm with mindful self-compassion.
Week 3 – Feeling the Edges with Courage: Resource yourself in the face of uncertainty; reconnect to inner and outer strength.
Week 4 – Connection: Weave belonging through shared care, community, and earth-based grounding.

Teacher Bio
I’m a holistic nurse and integrative health coach, but more than that—I’m someone who has spent a lifetime tending to the places where body, spirit, and the living world meet.
I’m co-founder of East and West of the River Wellness, a space born from decades of walking alongside others—through healing, through change, through the quiet call to return home to oneself.
My work blends the science of well-being with the wisdom of the earth. I draw from mindfulness, nervous system support, seasonal rhythms, and ancestral connection to help people root into presence—especially in times of upheaval.
Over the years, I’ve created mindfulness courses, seasonal retreats, rites of passage ceremonies, and community offerings that nourish both personal resilience and collective care.
At the heart of my offerings, I’m a guide who believes in beauty as medicine and joy as resistance.
In the power of silence to reveal truth, and in the sacred act of remembering that we belong—to ourselves, to each other, and to this earth.
This isn’t just what I do. It’s my devotion. And I’m so honored to share it with you.
