A Day to Return, Reflect, and Root into What Matters Most

As the air turns crisp and the trees begin to shed what they no longer need, we’re invited into the sacred stillness of autumn—a season of release, reflection, and quiet transformation.

This one-day retreat offers a pause from the noise and urgency of everyday life—a space to root deeply in mindfulness, embodied presence, and connection to the living world.

Held on THE FOREST HOUSE land in Hampton, CT, the day unfolds gently—moving from silence and stillness, into creative reflection, and finally toward clarity and courageous presence.

Though we’ll gather in quiet, this is not a retreat from the world. It’s a way to return to ourselves so that we can return to the world—with care, compassion, and resilience.

This retreat is for you if:

What the day includes:

  • Forest bathing with inspired meditations + mindful walking

  • Somatic movement and restorative silence

  • Journaling and intuitive creative exploration

  • Community connection + closing water blessing ritual

You’ll leave nourished, rooted, and renewed—carrying simple practices to guide you through the season ahead.

Join us as we walk gently together, creating space for quiet transformation and wise renewal—within ourselves and our shared world.

What to Expect: A Day to Return to What Sustains You

Morning: Silence & Embodied Presence

  • Grounding meditation + breathwork

  • Gentle movement & forest-inspired walking meditation

  • Spacious time to be in the natural world without pressure or tasks

Afternoon: Creative Integration & Community Care

  • Gently re-enter community space through embodied practices that balance presence and engagement

  • Follow your inner guidance through an intuitive, creative process that invites insight and renewal

  • Reflect together in a closing circle that honors what’s emerging within you—and how it may ripple outward

Facilitators:

  • Robin Thompson – Holistic nurse, mindfulness teacher, and a guide for seasonal and soul centered living

  • Angela Hutchins– Somatic trauma practitioner, grief worker, and yoga facilitator committed to individual, collective, and intergenerational healing and liberation.

  • Cost: $85 Scholarships and payment plans are available.

  • Includes all art materials, tea/snacks, and a nourishing day in nature. Please bring your own lunch, water bottle, journal, and any other items you’d like for comfort outdoors.

Space is limited to keep the experience intimate and intentional.
